When migrating to Simplified, you can export all your Postfity posts into a CSV file, and import them to Simplified, so you can bulk schedule your posts, save them as drafts or add them to queue.
Follow the steps to learn how to bulk export your posts and upload them.
Exporting your posts from Postfity
! note: you can export posts and drafts. |
! note: make sure your CSV file follow this format. |
1 - On your Postfity account, click the ... on the top right corner of the account name you want to export your CSV.
2 - Select if you want to Export future posts to CSV or Export unused drafts to CSV
3 - Save the CSV to your local directory.
4 - Follow the steps in the next section to learn how to import your newly created CSV file to Simplified.
Bulk importing your posts to Simplified.
! note: you can import CSV files that are up to 5MB in size, and contain up to 300 posts. |
! note: you can import posts that contain media files (images, photos and videos), and links. Posts with mentions, comments, and other additional fields are not supported on bulk importing, and won't be uploaded. |
1 - On your Simplified account, click on Social Media, then Publishing or Planning on the left side menu.
2 - Once in the Calendar, click Select Account or click the account icon to select the account(s) to which you want to upload and schedule your posts.
3 - Click the dropdown arrow next to New Post at the top right corner, then Bulk Schedule Posts.
4 - Click the dropdown arrow on the Import as section, and select if you want your posts to be scheduled, added to queue or uploaded as drafts. Then, drag and drop your CSV file onto the Upload your CSV File box, or browse from your local directory, then click Next.
5 - Click Prepare media for import to import your CSV file with all posts, or edit some (or all) posts before importing by clicking the ... to the right of each post, then Edit, and editing the post content, time and information, then clinking Prepare media for import.
! note: If your posts don't have media files, you can edit them, and click Import (see step 7)
6 - Click Import.
7 - Your posts will be imported and schedule in the chosen date and time (the date and time that was on the CSV file, or the new one you edited when importing). Click Close, and it's done!
