How to start using the Social Inbox

The Social Inbox is a feature that will help you keep track of messages and comments from all your social media platforms in one place. This will help you save time and be more efficient in your social media management.

  1. Log in to your Simplified account with your email or Google/Facebook user.

  2. Make sure you are in the social media section and click on the "Inbox" button in the main menu on the left.

    • The accounts you previously connected to the Calendar will be listed on the inbox. Select the one(s) you want to use. You can also click the account icon to unselect it.

    • Social Inbox is available for the following account types: Facebook Page, Instagram Business, and LinkedIn Business.

    • You can select all types of notifications from your social networks and individually select the notifications you want to review by clicking on the corresponding checkbox and then on "Apply". The number you see next to each box is the total number of comments, messages or mentions.

    • In the list here you will able to identify which platform the stream originated from and what type of content it is (mention, tag, comment, message).

    • In the top toolbar you will see two options, streams and conversations.

    Streams:

    Select the social network you are interested in and you will have an overview of comments, mentions, messages and tags.

    • You can hover your mouse over a notification and icons will appear on the right hand side. You will have the option to:

      • Go to conversation: Reply to or review the message within Simplified.

      • Mark as resolved: This means that you have resolved the conversation and it will no longer appear in your inbox.

      • If you click on the three dots: You will have the option to preview the message/comment/tag (By clicking on the eye icon) or open open open the social network to view the comment within Facebook / Instagram or other platform (By clicking on the arrow icon).

Conversations:

If you open the conversation, you will have the ability to respond to your clients or customers right in Simplified.

  • Type your response, upload media using the plus icon if you like, and click send.

  • Remember that you will receive messages and reply directly from Simplified, now you can easily reply, see who has replied, and check all your notifications in one place.
