Managing user permissions on the social channels

Learn how to set, change and manage permissions of team members for each connected social channel

Simplified allows you to set different roles and permissions for your team members for each social channel. Their role will determine their permissions within each social channels connected to Simplified.

This means you can select different roles for each social channel, remove access to channels and even select which channels a user can or not see.

Note: the permissions shown in this article apply to users' roles within each social channel connected to Simplified.

If you want to assign roles and permissions for your workspace, follow the steps on this article.

Here's how to assign and edit roles:

1- From your Dashboard, go to your account Settings by clicking the gear icon on the top right corner

Click on Settings

2- Click on Social Accounts on the left side menu

Click on Social Accounts

3- First, make sure you are in the correct Teamspace, or click the dropdown arrow to the right of the Teamspace name to navigate to the one where the accounts are connected and you want to edit permissions

Click on Default Teamspace

4- Click on the Account Permissions tab

Click on Accounts Permissions

5- Click the toggle button on each social channel to grant or remove a member's access

Click on gridcell

6- Then, click the dropdown arrow with the role on the social channel

Click on Admin

7- Select the new role

Click on Approver

9- Click Save. And that's it, you'll see the new role appear
