You can schedule and publish posts to your Threads account from Simplified Social Media.
Due to Meta's API restrictions, third-party apps (such as Simplified) aren't allowed to directly publish posts to your Threads account.
That means that, when you schedule a post to a Threads account, Meta doesn't allow Simplified (or any other third-party apps) to publish your posts.
In this case, when you schedule your post, you will receive an email reminding you it's time to publish your Threads post.
Here's the step-by-step:
1. Start by logging into your Simplified account
2. On your dashboard, click on Social Media
3. If your Threads account is already connected, navigate to Schedule Post on your Social Media Dashboard or Publishing on the left side menu, then select your Threads account in the post composer
Note: if your Threads account isn't connected to the Calendar yet, you can follow the steps to connect it on this article.
4. Now, create a post for your Threads account
5. Schedule the post for your preferred time.
You'll see a reminder about manual publishing, and you'll need to click on Acknowledge before scheduling your posts.
Note: If you install the Simplified mobile app and enable notifications, you can publish directly from your phone.
Note: When Simplified sends you the reminder email, the post will appear as published on your Calendar. However, the post will not be published to your account unless you manually publish it.
6. At the scheduled time, you'll receive an email or a mobile notification from the Simplified app. This reminder contains all your post info (media, caption, hashtags)
7. Now, it's time to manually publish your post to your Threads account. Here's how:
a) Copy the post caption and hashtags from the email or app notification
b) On your Threads account, create a new post, and paste the post content
c) Click Post, and and that's it! Your post is now live on your Threads account.
