Reconnect a social channel that lost connection to the calendar

If you refreshed your social channel's connection and it isn't working, you might need to reauthorize it. Follow the steps below to reauthorize each social channels on the Calendar.

Follow the steps below to reauthorize each social channel.

Facebook and Instagram accounts

1 - To reconnect Instagram and Facebook accounts, follow this article.


TikTok accounts

1 - Go to your TikTok account and click Profile in the bottom right.
2 - Click the 3-line icon in the top right to get to your settings.
3 - Click Security and login.
4 - Click Manage app permissions.
5 - Click Remove access to remove Simplified's access.

6 - Go back to your Simplified account, and refresh your TikTok account again, making sure to accept all permissions during the authorization process.



Twitter accounts

  1. Go to your Twitter account, click More on the left panel of the dashboard and then choose Settings and Privacy from the menu that appears.

  2. Click on Apps and Sessions under the Data and Permissions area.

  3. You should then see a list of apps. Find Simplified and click Revoke Access.

  4. Go back to your Simplified account, and refresh your Twitter account again, making sure to accept all permissions during the authorization process.


LinkedIn accounts

  1. Go to your LinkedIn account, click on your profile image in the top right corner, and then click Settings & Privacy.

  2. Click on Data Privacy on the left hand side, then click Other Applications.

  3. Click on Permitted Services (or click this link to go directly there). Find Simplified on the list of authorized apps and click Remove.

  4. Go back to your Simplified account, and refresh your LinkedIn account again, making sure to accept all permissions during the authorization process.

    • note: to refresh your account, your personal LinkedIn profile will either need to be the owner of the page or have the "Super Page Admin" role in order to reauthorize the connection.

    • note: If multiple LinkedIn pages were authorized through your own personal LinkedIn profile, refreshing one of them should also refresh the rest.


Pinterest accounts

  1. Go to your Pinterest account, click on the arrow at the top left of your account and then click on Settings.

  2. Click Apps on the left hand side (or click this link to go directly there).

  3. Find Simplified on the list of authorized apps and click Revoke access.

  4. Go back to your Simplified account, and refresh your Pinterest account again, making sure to accept all permissions during the authorization process.

Google Business Profile accounts

  1. Go to your GBP account, click on your profile image in the top right corner, and then click Manage your Google account

  2. Click Security on the left hand side (or click this link to go directly there).

  3. Select Signing in to other sites / Signing in with Google

  4. Find Simplified on the list of authorized apps and click Remove Access.

  5. Go back to your Simplified account, and refresh your GBP account again, making sure to accept all permissions during the authorization process.
